We recommend applying by February 1st. Applications after this date are considered if openings remain in the program.

We understand that this process can be both exciting and nerve-wracking, please know that we're here to support you every step of the way. Join us for a free Prospective Parent Tour at one, two, or all three campuses. Meet the campus director, explore the campus, and get all your questions answered. We encourage families to visit before submitting an application; we know finding the right program is important!

We're excited that you're considering joining our Growing Place family! To get started, complete our online application and submit the application fee. This will add you to our "wait pool”.
Being in the wait pool is a step closer to becoming part of our preschool community. You'll remain in the wait pool until one of the following happens:
1. Your child is admitted to our program – a moment we all look forward to!
2. If, for any reason, you decide to withdraw from the wait pool – whether you find another program, move away, or your plans change.

About Our Wait Pool

We have a unique system called a "wait pool" rather than a traditional waitlist. Our goal is to create a diverse and inclusive community that reflects the rich tapestry of identities and backgrounds from which our children come. Diversity includes factors like gender, family structure, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and socioeconomic status.
We believe that every child deserves to have both a reflection of their own experiences and a window into other ways of living and identities.
Understanding Application Deadlines

Priority Consideration (by December 1st) Applying by this date gives your family priority consideration during our admissions review. Siblings of current students also receive priority consideration, though enrollment is not guaranteed. Submitting your application by this deadline ensures your place in our wait pool for the 2026-2027 school year.
Regular Deadline (by February 1st) Applying by this date ensures your place in our wait pool for the 2026-2027 school year.
Late Applications (February 2nd and after) We will reach out to late applicants if spaces become available. Otherwise, your application will automatically be included in our wait pool for the following admissions cycle.
Admissions Conversations

December through February
We reach out to families for one-on-one conversations based on their applications and eligible ages. If invited, this conversation is an opportunity for us to get to know your child and your family better, and a chance for you to share your goals, values, and expectations for your child's early learning journey. Please note that siblings receive priority consideration, but admissions is not guaranteed.
Admissions Notification

February 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM
For families with children ages 2.5 years and older, admissions notifications are sent on February 26 for the 2026-2027 school year (August '26 through July '27).
Some families will receive a tuition contract for enrollment. For those who may not receive an offer right away, don't worry! We maintain a wait pool and regularly revisit it as spaces become available. Tuition contracts and deposits are due by March 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM.
