Grow Together

Our Parent & Me Toddler Program builds a community of learners for parents and caregivers of toddlers, through play. You'll attend right alongside your child in the same space — we never ask for a "goodbye."

Each class blends free play, snack time, and a parent education segment led by Julia Socolovsky, MFT, alongside two Growing Place educators who engage your child in playful, developmentally-rich activities designed for toddlers steady on their feet.

Sessions take place at Growing Place's beautiful Ocean Park campus, on a full acre in Santa Monica's Ocean Park neighborhood.

Each session runs 10 classes. Some weeks are skipped for school events or holidays, but every session still includes 10 full classes.

Program Logistics

Ages 18–24 months, steady on their feet, with a maximum of 12 children per class. Parents and/or caregivers attend with their child.

9:30–10:45 AM, once per week for 10 weeks. Each class includes play, snack, and parent education.

$125 per class + $300 enrollment fee. We ask that you commit to the full session — if your child is absent, you're still responsible for tuition.

Enrollment in the Parent & Me Program does not guarantee admission into our regular school-year programs.

Parent & Me FAQs

Who can attend the Parent & Me Toddler Program?−
The program is designed for toddlers ages 18–24 months who are steady on their feet, attending with a parent or caregiver. Classes are capped at 12 children so every family gets plenty of individual attention.
What happens during a Parent & Me class?+
Each 75-minute class (9:30–10:45 AM) includes play, snack time, and a parent education segment led by Julia Socolovsky, MFT, alongside two Growing Place educators. Parents and children stay in the same room throughout — we don't ask for a "goodbye."
When are the 2026–2027 Parent & Me sessions?+
We offer four 10-week sessions: Fall Wednesdays (Sept 9–Nov 18), Winter Wednesdays (Jan 13–Mar 31), Spring Tuesdays (May 4–Jul 13), and Spring Thursdays (May 6–Jul 15). A few weeks are skipped for school events or holidays, but every session still includes 10 classes.
How much does the program cost?+
Tuition is $125 per class plus a one-time $300 enrollment fee. We ask families to commit to the entire 10-week session — if your child is absent for a class, you're still responsible for that tuition.
Does Parent & Me guarantee a spot in Growing Place's preschool program?+
No — enrollment in the Parent & Me Program does not guarantee admission into our regular school-year programs. It's a wonderful way to experience our community, but families still apply separately through our standard admissions process.
